We all know Harris County Judge position is very important and so the election is also important. IAPAC, as a non-partisan entity organized a reception for a Republican Candidate Judge Ed Emmett last month. IAPAPC has now organized a reception for Gordon Quan, a Democrat Candidate. He is another outstanding candidate. He was elected for three terms as City of Houston council member with majorityand served as Mayor Pro-Tem of the City of Houston. As a leader and also as an immigration attorney, he has helped thousands of Indian Americans to get their legal immigration status. He has become a great friend of many IndianAmericans. Many of you know him personally and he is always available to help and talk to you.
Like many immigrant children, Gordon Quan migrated from China when hewas a little boy. He has a risen from a family owned grocery storebusiness to one of the best immigration attorneys in the United States.

Leading Indo American entrepreneur of Greater Houston, Ramesh Bhutada spoke of his long relationship with Gordon Quan and how he has helped the community since 1980 or earlier.
Former Councilman of Greater Houston talked about his relationship that with Indo Americans that has existed for over two decades. Among areas of focus, Mr. Quan talked about bringing more jobs to Harris County and better security.
Founder Director of IAPAC talked about Mr. Quan's association with the community and stressed the capabilities that Mr. Quan brought to the office.
